China Trainings
Shifu Michael Rinaldini performs the Daoist Walking Meditation
2001 – 2002 Master level trainings with Wan Sujian and Duan Zhi Liang during two China visits.
2003 Third China trip for continued qigong training, and Daoist Priest ordination in the Longmen Dragon Gate sect. Certified Bagua Xundao Gong Teacher by Master Wan Su Jian.
2008 Fourth China trip for continued qigong and Daoist training with Master Wan Sujian, and a special training with Master Xin at Heng Shan Mountain Temple. Certified High Level Senior Teacher by Master Wan.
Professional Workshops
I have presented eight workshops between 2000 and 2011 at the annual National Qigong Association (NQA) Conferences. I am scheduled to teach a workshop at the 2012 conference in Vancouver, Washington.
Qigong Certification Training Program
In 2003, I created a Qigong Certification program for local and distance students. As of 2011, my students have come from throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico, England, France, Chile, French Caribbean, Greece, and Australia.
Professional Member of the NQA since 1998, and in 2007, I was certified as NQA Certified Level IV Qigong Teacher.
Daoist Priest Training Program
In 2007, I founded the American Dragon Gate Lineage, as a way to train and ordain others as Daoist priests, thus continuing the process of Daoism moving to the West. As of early 2012 there are about twenty students in training to become either priests or general members of the ADGL. And in the Spring of 2012, I will have ordained nine priests in the American Dragon Gate Lineage with an additional eight candidates in training to become priests in 2013 or later.
I offer one residential retreat a year in May, which focuses on intensive qigong and Daoist meditation practices. The retreats are full weekends, Friday to Sunday, and silence is maintained.
