Qigong – Daoist Two Day Silent Retreat
September 11-13 4 pm Friday to 4 pm Sunday
Location: Sonoma Mountain Zen Center (SMZC)
We had a great retreat at Sonoma Mountain Zen Center. This two-day silent retreat was our third annual Qigong & Daoist retreat. During the retreat we practiced Daoist Zuowang Meditation, Daoist gong’an practice, qigong, and the Daoist Tea Ceremony. The retreat started with a Daoist Priest ordination ceremony on Friday evening. Below are some photos of the ceremony and the retreat. I am already looking forward to next year’s retreat and I am checking out centers where we can have more people. Unfortunately, I had to turn away a few people at the last minute who wanted to attend, but there was no room.
